Gillian Herrod-Hempsall

Gillian graduated from Bristol with an honours degree in Microbiology and is a Chartered UK & European Patent Attorney. After starting in private practice she then worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 7 years, during which time she was responsible for the worldwide filing & prosecution of the Zovirax® patent family. She then moved back into private practice where she has been ever since. She has experience of drafting & prosecution in a variety of fields including biotechnology, diagnostics, food technology, vaccines & pharmaceuticals.

Gillian has been of counsel to Lucas & Co. since 2001.
