Paul Casbon

Paul is a UK and European patent attorney and has been in practice since 1997. He received an honours degree in physics and astrophysics from the University of Birmingham in 1997 and joined Lucas & Co. that year. He became a partner of the firm in 2004.

He has experience in a variety of fields including computing, telecommunications, mechanical, electrical and electronic inventions.

He has a wide range of formalities experience and has been involved in the successful restoration of several patents. He is a contributor to the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys' (C.I.P.A.) Guide to the Patents Acts (also known as ‘the Black Book’) and was involved in the pre-publication review of Paul Cole’s book Fundamentals of Patent Drafting, published by C.I.P.A.
